Emotions such as grief, anxiety, anger, fear, and sadness are a natural part of dealing with life’s challenges. However, it’s crucial to express these emotions in healthy, safe and constructive ways so that you can move forward in your journey.

Work with me 1-on-1.
I’m a certified Therapeutic Art Life Coach, and I’m deeply honored to help walk my clients through places of fear and pain.

If you’re searching for a different, more hands-on and compassionate way to express your emotions, Creative Life Coaching might be for you.
I gained more from our sessions than through traditional therapy.
My concerns were heard and I was given unique assignments that felt personalized.
You don’t need to be an artist to benefit…

What is Creative Life Coaching?
Creative Life Coaching is my own innovative approach that combines the process of art-making with the strategic framework of life coaching.
Art helps us explore.
- When life takes us beyond words, we often need to go beyond words in order to heal.
- The art process can help you externalize and evaluate your thoughts and feelings, find breakthrough in places that you feel “stuck,” as well as help you reframe – and re-draw- negative experiences.

It’s different than therapy.
- As a coach, I come to our sessions prepared with a plan.
- I provide the guidance and encouragement necessary to help you meet your own goals, asking questions and shaping your perspective so that you can see more clearly, and live your life to the fullest as a result.
- I often share from my own story or experiences, sometimes taking on the role of a mentor, art teacher, or trusted friend.
Not just for “artists”.
- You don’t need to be an artist to engage in Creative Life Coaching. Many clients begin with minimal artistic skills.
- Therapeutic art is focused on the process rather than the final artwork.
- For those with an artistic streak, this coaching style will help you move forward in your inner life, as well as your art-making skills!

What to expect from a session
Here’s how a Creative Coaching session with me generally goes:
Gather materials.
Before each session, I’ll inform you via email about the art materials we’ll use so that we have the same materials in front of us.
Topic of focus
After a brief check-in, I’ll lead you in the topic of focus based on the goals we’ve set together. (For example, forgiveness of past wrongs, or overcoming triggers when walking into a room…)
Creative Activity
Engage in an art or craft activity linked to our topic of focus. Utilizing my special camera set-up, we actually create at the same time.
Discussion
After we’re done, we’ll discuss what we made, making observations, noting feelings, and discovering new perspectives along the way.
Application
Using what we discover during our art activity, we’ll discuss real-life applications of what you learned and set a personal goal to work towards before our next session.
Homework
I may ask you to complete part of the art project, respond to reflection questions, or complete some other concrete task during the coming week.
I looked forward to my session each week… I was amazed how much it helped me at actually using art to express my grief.
I was able to see the progress that I made very quickly.

Frequently Asked Questions
Our comprehensive suite of professional services caters to a diverse clientele, ranging from homeowners to commercial developers.
What art supplies do I need?
- No special materials are necessary.
- The focus is not on the art supplies but the experience itself.
- I encourage using what you have on hand, typically items like paper, pens, pencils, a basic watercolor set, crayons, and markers.
How is Coaching different than therapy / counseling?
- It’s important to understand that coaching differs from therapy or counseling. While I do not prescribe medication, treat severe mental health conditions, or delve deeply into past traumas, I do offer support in navigating challenging periods.
- I can also provide you with new strategies and outlooks to achieve specific life goals. Many clients find that combining coaching with therapy yields exceptional outcomes.
- Coaching is also not meant to be a long-term, weekly meeting. Instead we take about four sessions to work on one goal at a time. When those four sessions are over, we can choose to continue, stop, or work on a new goal.
How do we meet virtually?
We use video calls to meet virtually at a set time. We can use either Zoom or Google Meets for our session together. On my end, I utilize a special two-camera setup where you can see my face as well as the creative project on the desk in front of me. You can simply hold your art up to the camera when I need to see the finished work.
How much does Coaching cost?
- Virtual coaching is very affordable. You can expect about $55 USD for one hour-long session or $199 for four sessions.
- Coaching is an out-of-pocket expense and is not eligible for insurance coverage. Don’t let cost hinder your healing. Payment plans are available.
It’s time to heal.
I’d love to help answer your questions, hear more about your story, and see if I can help you move forward. This is a complementary, no-obligation chat.
